To keep a live tiger mascot happy at Louisiana State University (LSU), you need a substantial water area (including a large pond and waterfall for hot weather), an enormous synthetic rock (with a heated or cooled surface, as a lookout for the tiger), and new landscaping. Construction of the upgraded habitat specified PENETRON ADMIX SB (in soluble bags) to provide an integrated crystalline waterproofing solution. Applied as a wet process shotcrete application, the PENETRON ADMIX SB was added to the PENETRON ADMIX-Enhanced Shotcrete (PAES) to create a durable and naturalistic surface for the lookout rock and provide a new, waterproof surface for the pond and waterfall area. Mike the Tiger attracts more than 100,000 visitors each year and can be viewed via the live webcam at www.MiketheTiger.com.
